"Every lap is a parade lap!!"
We are taking part in the Scumball Rally to help raise money to TACKLE the issues surrounding prostate and testicular cancer. The Scumball Rally is a parody of the well known Gumball Rally however all of the fifty cars in this charity fund raising event are cars which their drivers might once have lusted as a teenager. Our "ballsy" Mark 2 Volkswagen Golf GTI is a classic 1980s hot hatchback.
The Scumball Rally will take place during August. To enter our car into the Scumball Rally we have to pay an entry fee and this fee will cover everything including accommodation costs, ferry crossings and ten laps of the Nürburgring Nordschliefe track. Unfortunately it doesn't include the cost of oil and I imagine that we'll be needing a lot of oil! Jim and myself will be paying the entry fee however we need your help to raise money for our chosen charity Everyman. Men and Motors will be showing scenes from the Scumball Rally in a one hour long programme and we will also have television time for our chosen sponsors so your company could gain priceless coverage through our exploits!
